Brady's 2 month stats

22.25 inches - 19th percentile
10lbs - 10th percentile

He's still small, but he's a Neilson, so I have no doubt he'll catch up and be a big boy soon enough. For now, I'm loving my tiny boy. He's a great sleeper. Once he goes down at around 10pm, he sleeps for 5-6 hours (last night we even got SEVEN) before waking up to eat. Then he usually wakes up every 2 hours after to eat and he's up for good sometime between 7 and 9am. He's a great eater too. He has totally mastered the nursing. I'm still having problems with it...even with a good latch, it still hurts like crazy, but I'm pushing through.

At our 2 month appointment, I had a sheet FULL of questions for the doctor. Brady has been excessively fussy all month, so I had a list of what seems to trigger it, when it's worst, etc. I also had a lot of other questions and the doctor listened to and addressed them all without making me feel like a crazy over-worried mother, which was great. After explaining Brady's fussiness, gassiness, excessive spit-up, and visible discomfort, we left the appointment with a prescription for reflux medicine. It should take a week to see if it works and I'm really hoping that it does so this boy can feel relief, smile more, and cry less!

That picture is to die for! He is SO CUTE!
Charlie had reflux too. Oh my goodness, let me tell you that I TOTALLY understand the endless crying :( But on the flip side, once we got reflux meds in his system, life was 1000x better -- its amazing how amazing life is when you go from a fussy baby to a happy baby in a matter of days.
Crossing my fingers for you (and Brady) that the meds take effect sooner rather than later!
