We had one of my favorite clients come into our office today. He's older and has kids around my age. Here's how our conversation went:
Him: Hey good lookin', how's married life?
Me: It's awesome, I love it!!
Him: Really???
Me: Of course, it's so much fun.
Him: You're so foolish, you don't even know.
HEY, just because your marriage or marriages didn't work out, don't assume mine won't!!

Did you find it weird that he called you good-lookin'? It makes me crazy when people do things like that, especially when it's an older man client. That was the first thing I noticed in that exchange. :) But it's also sad that he's so negative about marriage and all.
