Mom meets the snake

On the Friday after Christmas my family came over to see our "new" place. It was a lot of fun to just hang out with them and teach my parents how to play the Wii.

As I was showing them around, I showed them Ryan's snake and convinced them to hold it. My brother and dad held it without hesitation, but my mom was not interested. I kind of bullied her into it "don't be a baby mom, be brave"...I'm such a hypocrite because to this day, I've never held the snake. :)

Once I said, "I'll take a picture and blog about it so you can show the ladies at work", she was in...but she sure didn't like it. The entire 30 seconds she held it was full of "Hurry, take the picture", "ewww, it's moving", "hurry, hurry, hurry". That's why her face looks like she's in pain :)

Mom, you're so brave!!! I'm proud of you!!
